For the next few Saturdays I’m going shake things up a bit and suggest some lovely ideas for some weekend lunches that can be enjoyed by all the family.

First up is Pizzetine. I make these at home all the time and they are a quick and easy snack that your kids will love. This is more of a lunch idea.

Pizzetine Ingredients:

Bread (Any will do but it works best on french bread or foccicia)

Tomato Puree

Mixed dried herbs

Cheese

Method:

Mix the tomato puree with a sprinkle of dried herbs while you toast the bread under the grill.

When one side of the toast is done, turn it over and spread the puree mix onto it, along with a sprinkle of cheese and then put it back under the grill.

Yum!
